So I decided I would finally upgrade my BenQ DC E53 Digital camera from a 512 MB memory card to a 1 gig memory card.
My camera takes SD cards and that is what I bought. The card its self says SanDisk SDcard 1GB on it... My other card says Lexar 512MB SD card on it.
So I put in my new 1 gig card and my camera says: THIS CARD CANNOT BE USED
I've tried formatting it and I've made sure the card is unlocked. Why wont it work? How do I fix this?
I hope my information makes sense.

The Cards Capacity Is Too Large. The Camera Cannot Address That Much Storage. Check Your Manual.

The memory card is not compaitble. The camera wasn't designed for a big memory card like that. My old lap top takes the SD memory card, I always used the 256mb and it worked fine. I used a 1gb and it could not read the disk.
