Hell did not exist in the early teaching of the bible. It was added after they figured they needed a fear factor to hold on to the masses.

In going to Valhalla.
Hell is the Greek term for Sheol. Hell was divided into Hades for the bad and Paradise for the good. Jesus told the good thief he would be with him in Paradise. Ever notice the Greek Hellenistic influence on the new testament. A god comes down and seduces a virgin who has a man/god like Hercules or Achilles.

I'm not a Christian, but if Christianity is true, than probably around 5%. Maybe less, maybe more, but no more than 10% tops.

Hopefully the Abrahamic religions will abolish Hell in a few decades or so; not because that would make it less likely to be true, but because it is such a horrible and evil doctrine that's beyond any justification.

God isn't willing that any should perish but ALL come to repentance. Wouldn't this be a real kicker? That this constant talk about burning in hell when it is finally over 'ALL' came to repentance and ended up in heaven?

God said the road to Heaven is narrow and few be that find it
and the road to Hell is wide and many be that find it
so I would say a good many.

Mandy, the Bible DOES NOT say that only 144,000 make it to heaven. It just says that during the time of the great tribulation there will 144,000 Jewish converts to Christianity who are witnesses turning people to Jesus during that time of Tribulation.

The idea of only 144,000 making it to heaven is a false teaching invented by "Jehovah's Witnesses". (Who must be very nervous about making it into that "magic number").

an error.

Seriously, look again. It is talking about Israelites, and is speaking of those living at the time of the great tribulation:

"And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel."

Salvation is offered to as many as will receive Christ.

Oh, to answer the original question. I don't know how many will not make it to heaven, but however many do, its their own choosing. Just because God knows what they will choose, does not mean He forces them to choose it.

God knows. It says in the Bible that narrow is the way to salvation and God and few will follow that path. This makes me feel sad, because life is so short here compared to eternity. Our life is as a vapor compared to forever. I am thankful that I wanted Jesus in my life.

"for wide is the gate and short is the road that leads to destruction; and many there be that go there in"

"for long is the road and narrow is the gate that leadeth to life;and few there be that enter."

Unfortunately more will enter into hell than heaven.
