Guys don't find it as attractive as the media and appearance industries would have you believe. When I was young the fashion models all had thin lips and "pouty" lips were seen only as comical or sluttish. Let Vogue ban thin lipped models all it wants, if a lady has nice curves, nice hair, nice legs, nice smile, and isn't downright a troll, guys are going to be OK with her lips whether puckered or thin.

It changes her whole face shape. A woman's lips are feminine and attractive, so having big lips accentuates femininity - same as big boobs, long legs, and all those other things we like.
Plus they're just more inviting for kissing.
