God calls them and they need to obey Him, not man.

Same thing I believe about men preachers. They should be leaders of their flock. They should practice what they preach more than anyone else in their church to set a good example of the way to live. They shouldn't get rich off of their congregation just because they are a preacher, but the should make a decent living for being on call 24/7/365. They should continue to study and grow in their faith to provide their congregations with the best they can offer. Be a comfort in time of sorry, be a cheerleader in times of difficulty, and be a rejoicer in times of happiness. They should never, ever judge anyone in their flock, condemn them, or act superior in any way to any one. Be the servant their Christ was.

Just my humble opinion and one of the reasons I am sadly no longer a Christian.

In the bible , it insinuates that a man, full of the Holy Ghost, with one wife and has his household in order. Is to be the pastor. But it didn't say anything about evangelists, or teachers. Even Kathrine Coolman (not sure if I spelled it right) said that a man should run the church. But Kathrine Coolman is responsible for probably millions of people coming to Christ. Also for healings that have happened. In the old testament, Deborah was a judge over Israel instead of a man and did a good job at it. Its not that God doesn't think that women aren't capable of running the church. Its what the disciples through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit said was to be done. Now whether you think that it was just the culture of the times or it is what God wants. I think the important thing is that they preach with the spirit and in truth.

I know a woman who has started several home churches in India and America. Without her, where would those people be today as far as knowing God? Mother Teresa (God bless her) gave her entire life for the poorest of the poor. But she was not a pastor. Women may not supposed to be pastors of churchesm buit they sure have made quite a difference in the world as far as bringing the lost to Christ

God bless them.

There are... NO REAL.... BIBLICAL...."woman"... PREACHERS!

(Ephesians 4:11-12-13) And truly He gave some to be apostles, and some to be prophets, and some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers,

(Eph 4:12) for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.

(Eph 4:13) And this until we all come into the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a full-grown man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ;

The NT Greek all these are in the MALE! The Accuracy is there.... FOR THOSE THAT..... ARE.... NOT.... POLITICALLY..... CORRECT!

Also.... FOR WOMEN..... they can have a Ministry... AS STATED HERE......

(Titus 2:3-4-5) Let the MATURE women likewise be in reverent behavior, not slanderers, not enslaved by much wine, teachers of good;

(Tit 2:4) that they may = = train the young women = to love their husbands, = to love their children,

(Tit 2:5) to be discreet, = chaste, = keepers at home, = good, = subject to their own husbands, = = that the Word of God = = may not be blasphemed.

Thanks for Asking ! RR

Man or woman, God can give them the gift to preach in His name.
I guess we are so used to male preachers/priests/ministers/vicars
or whatever! and there are some folk who don't take women preachers seriously but really, we are living in the 21st century! Time for everybody to stop basing how good a preacher is, on whether they are a man or a woman.

It depends if they're "preaching" in their home like "Priscilla", or "preaching" in an assembly meeting.

Older women are to teach the younger women and children.

Women are to be silent in the church meetings.

Anyone that has a problem with these facts needs to discuss it with God Himself.

I believe that this question has been done to death, and asking it again isn't going to get any closer to a true answer than the first 100 or so times that it was asked.
