Is everybody paying close attention to their friends and loved ones in this holiday season? depression runs rampant and suicide rates skyrocket at this time of year, and the Archangel Clarence cannot be everywhere at once--the holidays can be very busy, but are all making time to communicate?

thank you, endora. people get so wrapped up in preparing for the holidays that they forget to check in with loved ones. people who are already isolated feel even more so as everyone around them is having parties and sending out cards.

You know it is actually a myth that suicides surge now. They might be a little more than usual. The time the most suicides happen is in the Spring, believe it or not. At least that is what I was taught in therapist school.

I believe deeply in my heart, it is really SAD Seasonal Affective Disorder.
However, I like to call it by it's real name: Cabin Fever.
