"War On Terror: Coalition forces captured the Taliban's biggest stronghold on Tuesday in a major military victory. Funny, isn't it, how the good guys winning doesn't make banner front-page headlines?
Musa Qala was the only town in the strategically vital Helmand province under Taliban control. The enemy had seized it in February after the collapse of a local truce between the British military and Afghan elders. But this week Afghan and NATO-led troops changed that by killing, wounding or capturing hundreds of Taliban fighters, including several commanders, in retaking the town."

I never watch the alphabet news anymore.
( ABCCBSCNNNBC )
Their bias is plain - if they would just admit it, I could at least have some respect for them. Every1, incl. me, is biased.

This is true. None of the above stations speak good about the war. Wonder how they would speak if our Country had another Terrorist Attack? This is what angers me about the Media. Something has to be done. We are the ones that watch their shows. This is why I am a Fox News Fan. The Liberals and the Left Chicken Wings live in their own dreams.

wow! the answers to this question! None of them realize that the freedom to answer these questions was paid for already and is still being paid for.
Oh they may say " support our troops, but blood is being expended for oil" or that we are only "pawns"
hmmm. To put on the uniform of a military person is HUGE.
We do what is required by our Commander in Chief. To do otherwise is called Treason. WE do not do this because we have a need a to be recognized. We do this because we realize that America gets attacked and we love our country.
Argghh. I guess it's fruitless to explain it all, But those that have worn the uniform and KNOW what it costs will have to someday explain it all.
Blessings

A very long time. Afghanistan has been largely swept under the carpet by network news.

I think that depends on your point of view; obviously the liberal news media sees death and defeat for our brave warriors serving in these hell-holes as 'positive'. They are all openly hoping for defeat in the mideast and victory for a socialist president in '08.

Fox News's Commentary is definitely Conservative. Greta Van Sustrand and Shepard Smith would be surprised to hear that they are Conservative, and both have their own shows on Fox. Seems they like the freedom of not having a DNC fax machine in their offices. If it is Conservative to report all the news, including the stories the aforementioned networks don't want us to see, than I guess Fox News is Conservative. CNN chased out Glenn Beck. When is his Conservative replacement due again?

I can't think of a single time.
Just once I'd like to see a news story about how we are aiding Iraqi lives.
Come to think of it, I have seen such a story but, it was overshadowed by the cost.....
