This is the easiest dinner recipe in the world and I've never met anyone who doesn't love lasagna... It's even better when you don't have to cook the noodles!

Prego Miracle Lasagna

1 28-oz Jar Prego Spaghetti Sauce
6 Uncooked Lasagna Noodles
1 15-oz container Ricotta Cheese
8 oz Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
1/4 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese

In 2-qt shallow baking dish spread 1 cup spaghetti sauce. Top with 3 noodles, ricotta cheese, 1 cup mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese and 1 cup spaghetti sauce. Top with remaining 3 noodles and remaining spaghetti sauce. Cover with foil and bake at 375 for 1 hour. Uncover and top with remaining mozarella cheese. Let stand 10 minutes.

Try This one. It's easy and looks like you're a gourmet chef.
Buy a pack of thin sliced danish ham. Get a can of long asparagus spears. Wrap two to three asparagus spears with a couple slices of the ham and top with hollandase sauce. (Mix this sauce from a packet you buy at the supermarket) Heat for a few minutes @ 350 degrees. Serve with Cesar Salad. Make Cesar Salad by buying a head of romaine lettuce cutting it into two inch pieces after washing well, and bottled cesar sald dressing. Add some small squares of extra dry toast. You'll look like a champ. I cook this when I have to try to impress a date with my cooking skills cooking skills.

If you have a slow cooker/crock pot, try someting in that. Very simple and all it really requires is you cutting up whatever the ingredients are. If you have one, give it a try- you can make lots of soups or stews that taste really good. And all you do you is put stuff in the pot, follow directions, set it to low for 8 hours or high for 4/5 hours and leave it.

If you have to cook though, try fish- bake salmon in the oven with some herbs and sliced lemon, quick cooking rice, and some veggie that you can steam. Good luck =0)

Mac-N-Beef

1 1/2 lbs of ground beef
1 Box of macaroni
2 cans of tomato sauce
1 can of tomato paste

brown the ground beef. once it is brown drain the ground beef. leave the grease in the pan.

dump the box of macaroni into the pan and cook until it changes colors. stir it or it will stick.

Put the ground beef back in the pan with the macaroni and mix. Next add the tomato sauce and tomato paste. Fill the tomato paste can with water and pour into the pan. Mix it all together. Cover and simmer for 30-45 minutes. Just until the macaroni is done. Season and there you have it.

Options: you can add diced onions and garlic. you can also add a can of peas if you like.

Enjoy and good luck!

PASTA FOR DINNER

12 oz. pasta
16 oz. low-fat cottage cheese
1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
2 tbsp. olive oil
1 med. onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, chopped
2 c. broccoli, cut
1/2 sweet red pepper
1 carrot, cut in strips
1/4 tsp. basil
1/4 lb. sliced mushrooms
1 c. chick peas, rinsed
1 chopped tomato

Cook pasta. Meanwhile, puree cottage cheese, Parmesan cheese. Heat oil in large skillet. Add onion and garlic. Cook 3 minutes until softened. Add broccoli, red pepper, carrot, basil; cook 3 minutes. Sprinkle with water to prevent sticking.
Add mushrooms. Cook 2 minutes longer. Stir in chick peas; heat through. Drain pasta; fold in cheese mixture. Add vegetables. Mix lightly.

QUICK LETTUCE SALAD

1 head lettuce, broken in bite size pieces
3 green onions, sliced
6 slices bacon, fried crisp and crumbled

Pour bacon and drippings over greens and toss until all leaves are lightly coated (don't be afraid if drippings are hot, lettuce will not wilt).

Dressing:

1 cup sour cream
1 tablespoon vinegar
2 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt

Blend dressing ingredients, pour over greens, and toss lightly. Serve right away. The leftovers are great the next day when it is wilted.

TEXAS TOAST

1 loaf French toast bread
Butter

Taking slices of the French toast bread spread butter on both sides of the bread. Place each slice on a cookie sheet. Place in the oven with the setting on broil and lightly toast for about 2-3 minutes.
For an added touch: Sprinkle garlic salt or grated Parmesan cheese on top of the toast.

alrighty kid heres what you have to do.

pull out a box of minute rice.
follow directions and when its done, add soy sauce or hot sauce or just butter! doesnt matter if youre keeping it simple!
you can also use minute mashed potatoes.

if you have any meat in the house like chicken or beef, put about 1/4 cup olive oil or canola oil in a frying pan

if its chicken:
rinse under cold water and wash your hands DUH
whisk up 3 eggs in one bowl dip the raw chicken in it
in another bowl have about 2 cups of flour
dip it in the flour and put it in the frying pan when the oil is hot.
its oil, so be careful it doesnt splash. keep it ona medium flame.

if its beef:
cut it up in slices after you wash it
put a little less oil in the pan and put any kind of tangy sauce on it, like teriaki or bbq. anything bold.

after 1/2 way through cooking the meat you can add frozen veggies or veggies you have on you to it and cook till till the meat is well done and the veggies are fully soft and flavorful.

thats all i gottttt for ya

1 can pork and beans
1 pound hot dogs sliced
1 pound hamburger
chopped onion
green pepper if you want
salt and pepper
Instant mashed potatoes
Cheese
13 x 9 inch pan, oven 350 degrees
Brown hamburger, drain grease. Add sliced hot dogs and onion, green pepper, brown a little more...add can pork and beans, stir...Put in 13 x 9 inch pan
Now this might seem crazy but you make some instant mashed potatoes enough to cover the meat mixture. Sprinkle top with lots of cheese...
Delicious..and very good too!! Inexpensive to make. Try it!!

How about spagetti (cooked for 10 minutes in boiling salted water) served with spagetti sauce heated up from a jar, with bread to dip in the sauce and make a simple salad to go with it. It is a balanced meal and super easy.

This is kinda different and you can dress the plate up to make it look gourmet.

Swordfish steaks- grill them
New potatoes-boil them in chicken broth
California mix(carrots, broccoli, cauliflower)-steam it
Onions and red peppers-saute them (use a bit of butter or a spray like Pam would work, too in a non stick pan)
Arrange the food on the plate. Add a little spoon of salsa next to the onions and peppers. (I know you said no can or jars, but can you fudge on a little bit of salsa?)
Add some lemon wedges, also.
Add a sprig of parsley to accent.

Tator Tot Casserole

1 lb. hamburger
1 onion chopped
1 pkg. tator tots
1 can campbells cream of celery soup
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Brown hamburger and onion. Drain grease.
Mix with soup and cheese.
Put in a 9x13 baking dish.
Top with tator tots and bake at 350 degrees for 30-45 minutes or until tator tots are golden brown.
This is really easy and tastes great too. You can serve with a mixed green salad. It is great!
Hope this helps. :))
