Is it OK to hate Muslims because of their religious beliefs but not OK to hate Jews because of their religious beliefs? If so, why? (I am not a member of an organized religion.)

Is it the person or the religious beliefs that you take issue with? Obviously not all Muslims believe in the exact same things, just as not all Christians and Jews believe in the exact same things. Generalizing an entire religion like that could be taken as a sign of ignorance, don't fall into that trap. And besides, if you hate everyone who believes in things you don't like, you'll pretty much have no one left to like.

I'll start by saying it's OK to hate whomever you want to hate. It is not up to me or anyone else to tell you how to feel, how to love or who to hate. That being said, it is silly to lump all of any group into one basket. There are no doubt Muslims that you could be truly justified in hating, as well as Jews, Christians and people from most any other religions. There are people that can be categorized as bad in all walks of life and in all religions. Look at the scandals that have unfolded within the Catholic Church. Would it be appropriate to lump all Catholics into the same basket as those wrong doers? I think not. It is not the religion itself that is bad. It is the person within the institution that uses religion an justification for their atrocities that are bad.

you should do some research on religion. Christians, Muslims, Jews have similar belief systems. The main difference is how they choose to worship. All three religions are Abrahamic religions, and all three believe in Jesus, Muslims believe in Muhammad as the last phropet of God. Dont hate what you dont know.

Well, you can hate whomever you want. However hating a group of people just because they are different than you would just make you a bigot. There is already enough pointless hatemongering out there - so please don't contribute to it. That said, I personally disagree with some of the tenets of Islam and some of Judaism, but I would never hate a person just because they believe differently.
I have friends of different faiths, we disagree on some things sometimes, but we still get along.
(btw, I am not a member of an organized religion either)

People who hate other people based on the religion or order they belong to are anarchists. They promote chaos and strife and they love trouble over peace. If its one thing religious people do not do is to respect the other person's beliefs. Had they done this in the past centuries, there wouldn't be too many religious wars.

Personally I don't think it is appropriate to hate anyone for any reason whatsoever, including their religion. The basis of Islam is love, peace, charity and the belief in one God. Why would you want to hate someone because they believed in that. That's no different than hating Christians because of something some so called Christian did before. The basis of our religion is love, peace, chairity and the belief that Christ is the Son of God.

"harass all people who sounds like they are from the middle East", it is precisely what occurred to be on 9/11... They have been Israelis (look up the 5 dancing Israelis), yet pretended to be Palestinian Arabs. think of a few of those ignorant people who blindly accuse Muslims for 9/11, while Muslims are people who have been staring with marvel at their television displays like another human beings have been that day; whilst maximum Israelis have been dancing away with exhilaration. human beings generalize, decide, scapegoat others each and every of the time. except you have met a Muslim who's Arab or non Arab, then do no longer talk approximately them as though they are each and every of the comparable. you could no longer continually tell if someone is from the middle East besides. besides, in basic terms approximately 11-12% of Arabs are Muslims.

No, because the image of the Muslims isn't war but peace although their are many terrorist groups who are adherent to Islam but they don't follow what mainstream Islam is doing. If you are Christian or Jew, it might be okay because Christianity and Islam were historical enemies. That's why many Muslims hate the Western world because they are largely Christian (with a few secularists). And that is why they hate Israel (which is Jew).
