I know nothing has been confirmed. Who do you believe the UFC will match Shogun with? What would be a good match up in your opinion?

Shogun wants to fight Tito because of his "I'd never to lose to a fighter from a third world country" comment. I doubt it happens though. There's 0 chance he fights either Wand or Chuck. He will never fight Wand, period. Both have states this numerous times. Chuck is 38 and at the tail end of his career, you never know with UFC matchmaking, but if (I say WHEN) he loses to Wand his career is basically over. I think you will see Shogun fight either Houston, the winner of Machida vs Soko, or Jardine.

EDIT- To the guy below, if you think Tito Ortiz could "easily" outwrestle Shogun and win a decision, I suggest you watch his fights vs Arona and Randleman.

Well he talked about fighting Tito Ortiz but I don't see that happening. As Dana White always says, "styles make fights" and this would be a bad fight for Shogun. Tito could easily take Shogun to decision and win because of his wrestling. I think he might fight Rashard Evans. Even though he is also a wrestler I think he would have an easier time defending his take downs. The last thing the UFC wants is someone of Shogun's talents losing 2 fights in a row and end up like Crocop. I think the UFC will give him a name opponent but someone he can easily beat.

I don't care. Shogun is in the wrong league. Preiod. The UFC and their silly no kicks to grounded opponent rules have completly taken the excitement out of the once most exciting fighter in the world.
