That is the same as asking why Mickey needs Minnie. All are just as real.

Jesus is God as the second person of the trinity. The dogma of the trinity is that there are three persons in ONE God. The nature of God is the trinity. It is all about how God knows and loves Himself. God is aware of His own existence and begets a Son by projecting an exact image of Himself. The love between the two proceeds as the Holy Spirit. These are Gods intrinsic and basic thoughts and actions that become actualized in the Bible. In time, the Son (divine nature) became flesh (human nature) in the person of Christ. Since all this basic activity within is God and is equal to God, all three entities are equal as God while remaining only ONE God. Christ (Jesus) is not God all by Himself, but is still totally God. Jesus becomes the visible image of an invisible God.

Jesus Christ is the expresssion of God in the flesh. He was in the bosom of God from the beginning and was planned to be the needed sacrifice to reconcile man to God. Without Him, we would never be clean or pure enough to stand before the Lord. I am speaking of a person who is of the age of accountability and not children. In Mark, Jesus says of little children that their angels always do behold the face of God. Purity and innocence allows them to enter in without needing an intercessor.

Who Is a Prophet?
A Prophet is a person who is appointed by God to call the people to the worship and believe in the One God. All Prophets were given miracles by Allah to prove that they were Prophets. For example, Moses was given the miracles to free the Children of Israel, Jesus was given the ability to heal the sick and raise the dead by Allah's’ leave and Muhammad was given the Qur’an which is the everlasting and literal speech of Allah. May Allah send His peace and blessings on all the Prophets. Ameen!

There is a Trinity; God, His Son (Jesus) and the Holy Spirit. Jesus was man incarnate who went to earth to die for our sins, the Holy Spirit followed to be our Counselor.
They are all the same entity, however each has it's own special place and deeds (Jesus and Holy Spirit) and God is at the head (in a sense).

It states in the Bible that God created Christ for our benefit, so he could come to earth and die for us, so that we could be saved and no longer be damned to hell for sinning, which he knows that we as humans will all do, so he sent him here to die for us to take on all the sin in the world so that we might be forgiven and be saved and one day live with him for all eternity in heaven.

It is our understanding that Someone divine needed to die to pay the debt that mankind owed for breaking the law. (The wages of sin is death). Also, someone divine had to be alive in order to maintain the universe. Ergo, 2 were needed.
