You do not need to boil the smokies. It's all cooked already so all you have to do is heat things up. Put them on high in your crock pot for an hour or so till they get hot, then turn them down to warm to keep them hot.

The other poster is correct. Nothing more is necessary than getting them hot. Most prepared sausages are pre-cooked entirely, and most canned foods are completely cooked as a result of the canning process, not to mention the convenience of prepared foods. The real question is why are you serving Bush's Baked Beans and Lil Smokies?

it depends on the crock pot. if you are goign to be around put it on high and keep an eye on it. once it gets hot turn it down.

no you do not have to boil the smokies. actually that would probably ruin the flavor.

dang, you're making me hungry. when will this be ready? can I come over? LOL

Lil Smokies are already cooked; you basically just need to heat them up. I like to heat them until they don't have all the wrinkles form the package on them!

2 hours ought to do for both.

they are both already precooked so they just need heated ,but a longer simmer should add to flavor.
