Hello, I just bought a 2003 Nissan Maxima and on the way home my SES light came on. I had the ECU checked and got 4 NATS code p1610, p1612, p1614, and p 1615. I also received pending code for P0507.

I only have one key that looks like it is not a nissan key. could this be the problem? What can i do and what is the cost?

Thanks for any help

Many times some one cleans the throttle chamber and not the idle is out of range so the P0507 code gets set. Called an idle voloume relearn at your nissan dealer. All of the NATS codes are from attempts to start the car with a unprogramed key. p1610 was Lock Mode after four attempts the car locks down. I do not know how your car is driving with all the Immobilizer codes stored. Make sure to get by the dealership to have nats codes cleared and car looked over. Do you have the real title to this car? I saw one that was stolen and NATS system wired around so the car would run.
I would gather up all the keys and proof of ownership (insurance card title ect). Buy another key and keyless entry fob have the idle learn procedure done keys reprogramed and drive home. The key blank will be over $40 dollars the labor will be abour $180 to $200 Keyless entry fob another $90. Happy Holiday's

if it starts than codes are because a un programed key attempted to start vehicle ... p0507 is idle system code in which idle is higher or lower than ecu expects at a given time .. idle air volume re-learn usually takes care of this code. a consult 2 scan tool is need to reset idle and throttle position
