Guy Trouble!?

Ok well i like this guy and im a freshman and i play ice hockey for my Jv school team. Well he's a junior and he plays on my hockey team. Well hes kinda cute but hes really nice, funny, protctive during games, he always sticks up for me, and he just makes my life so much easier. But like im pretty sure the only reason he does this is cause were friends. So im not sure if he likes me or if its just cause were friends and were on the same team. We see each other all the time in school and we always joke around and i see him at hockey. its just idunno. Like im not sure if he would ever go out with a freshman because of the age difference! Or if he would go out with a girl on his hockey team cause it could be weird. What should I do?

Just thank him for being such a good friend and ask "Would you like to go out with me too, or am I too young?"

That gives him the perfect out to say "Yes, you are" without embarrassment.

And if he does, it gives you the perfect opening to ask "Am I old enough yet?" half a year or a year from now. ;)
