A friend mentioned that she has seen many university diplomas made of simple and hymble paper. She said that many of this diplomas are made of a white letter sized sheet of paper with gothic fonts, and in this sense they look more like "fake diplomas" which were made using "word" or some other software. Why so many university diplomas look so simple??

My diploma is on simple white paper, however, they have foil emblems on them that cannot be faked easily. All real diplomas have signatures and official insignia. They don't put much money in them because universities are always trying to save money. Better they do it on the diplomas than cutting professors, I say.

Word or some other software???? You're joking, I hope! University diplomas are printed on Parchment and watermarked papers and are usually type-set with all the common information then the graduates name is hand written in a calligraphic or similar technique with pen and ink. Anyone can make a pretty real looking diploma with the right inks, fonts and paper in today's world.

they are called SHEEPSKINS because they used to be made of expensive stuff, but even universities are getting CHEAP nowadays. They bug you for money and more money, but won't even spend what they have.
