Me and my ex broke up about 8 months ago. It wasnt a rough breakup but it wasnt a nice one either. Im still in love with her. We text eachother sometimes, but about insignificant stuff. She for some reason tries to keep contact with me and my family(talks to both my brothers still). I became really close with her family during the relat. so her brother still calls me and invites me over to his house. The thing is, im still in love with her. But she might have fallen in love with someone else already, and she MIGHT not know i still love her. What should I do. Should I keep contact with her so one day we talk again? Shes the girl i want to marry. Im not a needy guy. I have women, but i want that one. Is it even possible?

well now me and her are 18.
perhaps we were too young...
we started dating at 16 or so broke up near 18
i know my feelings and i knew she was the one, things just didnt work out this time around i guess.
But she might be in love with this new guy. i DO in fact know that I WAS her first love. Her first to be completely and madly in love with. I guess things just change after a year...=\

You did not mention age, and that has a lot to do with situations like yours. If you are mature enough to have had a true commitment she just may be the one. It does happen that in life sometimes there is that one special person that no one else ever quite measure up to. You lose them, but never get them out of your heart. It could be that they feel the same. People have reunited with a lost love years later, or even several times in their lives trying to make it work. There are as many scenarios as there are people.
You will never know until you try, you may be rejected, but if you don't take the chance you will always regret it and wonder. Some of us didn't have the courage to face the rejection and for one reason or another won't get another chance. Go for it!

well it's better to tell her then to just sit and wonder what if. The sooner the better. But don't be hurt if she says no because in every failure their is a blessing.
