No. You will burn as many or close enough calories getting them out of the jar and chewing them as they contain. On top of that they will fill you up so you won't eat as much other higher calorie food.

Dill pickles are not fattening and cannot be fattening even if you eat the whole jar or two or three jars. I think would experience a little acidosis before you would experience any problem with weight gain. They are considered a free food on Weight Watchers, so that should tell you they are not fattening.

I suppose any food is fattening if you eat enough of it, even lettuce. However, dill pickles are not considered a fattening food since they are mainly cucumbers, vinegar, brine and spices.

Depends on sweet or dill... Dill pickles are basicaly calorie- (and nutrient-) free. Very high in sodium however. Sweet pickles are caloric... but not especially so.

No, not at all. Sweet pickles can be, but not dill because they are unsweetened.
They are high in salt, though. So you probably don't want to overdo it. Drink some extra water.

No, very few calaories in them.
However, there is a great deal of sodium, so they could cause you to retain extra fluid, which can make your clothes fit tightly. To stop this, drink extra fluids the day you pork out on pickles.

Any food is fattening when eaten in excess.
Dill pickles have little fat in them, but there can be sugar (depending on the pickling recipe used).

although they only have (on average per spear) five calories, the salt content is rather high. because of the sodium, some may experience bloating or water retention when eaten in excess.
