Yes, but many kernels may not pop and the oils in the bag may be a little stale, resulting in a less-than-theatre bowl of popcorn. Won't hurt you, but it might not taste the best.

Best buy dates are fairly general. If the popcorn is the type that needs to be popped before you can eat it, it will be fine. And even the kind that is already popped should be ok because it is dry. It may possibly be a little stale that's all.

When a food item says, "best by such and such a date", it doesn't mean you can't eat it, but the taste and freshness may not be as good. Most food items, even canned goods, and those that are full of preservatives, have a shelf life, where the quality is best if consumed within the date listed on the package.

some of the kernels wont pop and stuff like that but its ok

yes . i'v used it over a year past thr date . doesn't pop as well but not bad
