my dog can not open his mouth all the way...his jaw is not loose,he has no other syptoms of any disease...he just can't open his mouth,he can't even yawn,we had to soak his food in water,so he could try and eat it,which it worked,he can slightly open it,but it's like it stops, and his bones on the side of his face are sticking out,it won't wiggle, and he is not whining like it hurts.

Could be many many things.. None of which you can solve at home.. Time for the vet.

You should definately ask your vet, but I'm thinking that you can massage the sides of his face with your pointer fingers in little circles, that makes my dog calmer, and maybe it'll help ease open his jaw a little bit. Also ask the breeder (if you got him from a breeder) how he was fed as a puppy! They must know some diease that the parent had or something!?

Sounds like he may have fractured or broken his jaw somehow. You should take him to the vet asap, since this is effecting his eating. How would you feel if you couldn't open your mouth all the way? Not fun, so take him to the vet pronto.

He needs a vet - soon. Better safe than sorry. He may have injured it, or he may have an illness. That is a very abnormal problem for an animal.

He needs a vet, sounds like a dislocated jaw or maybe broken one.

If this dog has not seen a vet yet, do so IMMEDIATELY. I'm not a vet, but I am a zoo-keeper/animal trainer...and this dog needs urgent medical care NOW.
