I have a Sharp LCD tv, and when i turn the tv on, most of the channels are red and green... the settings are at factory setting...What would be the problem? is it the tv or the cable?

play a dvd if the problem still exist its the TV

Are there any knobs at all to fine tune the color? If not, take the set back to the dealer immediately and ask for a replacement or get your money back. If the set was pretuned the color should be perfect.

make sure all 3 of the colored cables are firmly pluged in. Try another component hookup, then try another set of cables, lastly, swap out the cable box.
