You don't beg. It's undignified. If you're old enough to be given a cell phone by your parents, then you should be old enough to get a part time job and save the money for the model you want. But since your phone is only 5 months old, you probably won't be elegible for new phone account or upgrade pricing so you should be ready to pay the full price and not expect any discounts.

I think you're being pretty ungrateful to your parents anyway... you don't appreciate what you were already given enough to think "this phone is more than good enough for me!"

If you got a new phone a few months ago, then there is probably no reason to get a new one on a whim. There will always be a new brand, or modification that makes a newer model more desirable. Part of growing up is learning you don't necessarily need everything the minute you want it...you have to wait and work for many things in your life. Your parents know that and sound sensible to me.

You can beg your parents all you like mate but they will say that you don't need one. So there is nothing you can do to make them get it for you. You'll have to work for it, plain and simple.

try working for one... earn the money yourself, so you will appreciate what it takes to buy something like that.

meanwhile, since you already have a phone, maybe try begging for something else.

take care.
