You will be given a form upon which you write all vital info, including all meds you are on. Find a spot on their to say something like "I've recently eaten foods containing poppy seeds" to inform them before the test.

Just say simply you have had Kolachi or poppy seed dressing or muffins in a 48 hour period. You will test positive, so its best to be honest upfront. They will reschedule your
drug test.

2 cups milk

1 (1/4-ounce) package active dry yeast

1/2 cup lukewarm water (110 to 115 degrees F)

1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter

2 large eggs

1 1/4 cups sugar

2 teaspoons salt

8 1/2 cups all purpose flour

POPPY SEED FILLING

2 ounces poppy seeds

1/2 cup milk

1/4 cup sugar

1 tablespoon Lyle’s Golden Syrup* or light corn syrup

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/8 teaspoon salt

STREUSEL TOPPING

1/2 cup all purpose flour

1/2 cup sugar

3 tablespoons chilled unsalted butter, cut into small pieces

To make the dough: Warm the milk in a medium saucepan set over medium heat until it begins to steam and form a skin; do not boil. Cool for 10 to 15 minutes until it registers 110 to 115 degrees F on a candy thermometer. Dissolve the yeast in the lukewarm water and let sit until foamy, about 5 minutes. Melt the butter in a microwave or a small saucepan over medium-low heat
