She didnt say dull pain, so it cant be you. :) Pressure generally means stuffed sinues.. neck pain can be muscular or you could have a vertebrae out.. Sudafed for the Sinus, Massage for the muscle if it is that.. Or maybe a trip to a chiropractor.

Have your wife take an anti-inflammatory like Aleve or Advil then lie down with a heating pad on her neck for about 20-30 minutes. Then give her a neck massage using the tips of your fingers and moving them in a circular motion. Repeat with the heating pad for another 20 minutes. Then have her do some stretching exercises.
1. Slowly touch chin to chest and hold for a count of 20. Then slowly raise head to look at the ceiling for another count of 20. Repeat 5 times.
2. Slowly turn head as far to right as possible and hold for count of 20. Then to left, hold and count. X5
3. Slowly touch ear to shoulder, right and left, hold and count. X5
4. Slowly touch chin toward armpit, right and left, hold and count. X5.
These are exercises I was taught in physical therapy for the chronic neck pain I have from advanced arthritis in my neck. They do work and help a great deal with the pain. I do them every day and sometimes several times a day.
I hope your wife feels better soon. If not, see a doctor.

Stay away from the chiropractor: go to your regular doctor, he''ll send you to an orthopedic surgeon or a neurologist and they can make some tests to see what's going on in there. It could be anything from a steno-sis to a bulging disc and require surgery. A chiropractor could only make it worse.
It sound like a pinched nerve and it goes up across her head, over her ear to her eye, right. Then she has spasms, however light in her head and shoulder/arm. It could go down her arm to her fingers and make them sting.
She may be able to get instant relief from her doctor with a cortisone shot right away but, that won't last long, days at most. She's going to have to get whatever is doing that corrected, MRI's and CAT's then possible surgery.

Jeff is giving good advise to get to a doctor.
Several things could be at fault here, but you can't fix it until you know the cause.
If pain relief medication is prescribed, bear in mind that as long as she take meds, she will have pain as the meds don't cure, they only cover up the symptom.
You need to get at the root cause of the problem, including any meds she might be on.
Do not neglect the fact that she may not be getting enough oxygen in the brain cells because of a blocked artery.
You wouldn't want her to have a stroke, she is too precious to you and your new born.
God Bless,
Daniel

Sounds pretty serious... take her to a doctor.
Could be anything you could imagine. Before you get yourselves worried- especially with the answers you might be getting, go to a real life medical professional near you who can evaluate the situation first-hand.
I would rather you have taken her to a hospital before putting her medical situation in anonymous people's hands here on Yahoo Answers.

She could possibly have a pinched nerve.I have one and it causes me to have stiffness in my neck and left shoulder and I feel a sharp pain down my left arm as well. I had to get checked out by my Doctor. I also saw a chiropractor which helped.

I'm not sure about her neck pain, but I believe if your wife is not getting enough sleep her eye may twitch.
