I am writing my son's baptism invitations and I am looking for a nice line from the Bible to put on them.

I found this one I like: “I have held thee in the palm of my hand” Isaiah 51:16

Any other ones you like?
Thank you!

What you have is perfect. Those whom God holds in the palm of His hand, have been known from eternity, and He will keep them in the palm of His hand for eternity. It is not only a verse for the child, it's a verse that shows your commitment to raising your little one, because YOU have been held in the palm of His hand.

Ecclesiastes 4:13 Better is a poor and a wise child than an old and foolish king, who will no more be admonished.

I like the one you picked out already the best, but here is another suggestion for you.

Psa 139:13 For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb.

God bless!

there is the first place Peter preached salvation:

Act 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

I don't think the bible does cute, but lots of hell and brimstone and fire is big as well.

But have a great baptism
