Ammonium sulfate: Acid or base?

Ammonium sulfate is neither an acid nor a base, it is a salt. It is used as a fertilizer on alkaline soils because in the soil it breaks down and releases the ammonium as a Nitrogen fertilizer for plant growth and the sulfate ion is released and forms sulfuric acid, lowering the pH balance of the soil.
Calcium hypochlorite is a chemical compound with formula Ca(ClO)2. It is widely used for water treatment and as a bleaching agent (bleaching powder). This chemical is considered to be relatively stable, but if it is broken down it can release chlorine gas which can be deadly.

ammonium sulfate are both acid or base based on fertilizer usage and percentage application, when in contact with calcium hypochlorite will definitely increase acidity in the soil which resulted to hardening of subsoil.

CP touched on this in the reply above.
I think this is the answer your teacher wants to hear.
Ya, there are agricultural aspects as well.

Ammonia and bleach are each used for cleaning and disinfecting.
However chemistry professors and janitors advise not mixing the solutions together in a lab, at home or on the job to create an all-in-one super cleaner.
Because deadly chlorine gas might be created.

If you want to wear underwear i suggest that you wear a cotton boxers that are 1-2 sizes larger but have a snug waistband this will allow more ventilation and more room for that area .. BUT better yet.. it might be best not to wear any underwear at all.. Make sure you wash down there often and to prevent any skin irritations use Hydrocortisone cream and baby powder
