I'm not atheist; I'm Pagan so I hope you don't mind my answering. But yes, cover to cover several times, both the Protestant and Catholic versions, the Latin Vulgate, the Apocryphal, some from the Nag Hammadi texts (Gospel of Thomas especially), the Gospel of Mary, and lots more.
Wonderful, fascinating reading.

I'm not an Atheist, bt I have read it cover to cover, and I'm currently reading it again and doing a complete study of the works inside.
I enjoy reading the bible, it's very interesting.

I pray to my own God but have not the intellect or wish to read the bible cover to cover. It is interesting to note here that the scriptures we have are merely tales, gossip, and makey-up. But my first bible really conjured up a sense of fairness and responsiblity = ok it was only the coat of many colours and perhaps moral stories, but I love the idea of one world being at peace with everyones religion or otherwise.

This atheist has read the bible many times, and, yes, cover to cover, back when I was growing up in a fundamentalist christian household.

I have read it cover to cover (aside from some of the stuff in Numbers) two times. I have also been to Bible study and took two semesters of Christianity/Islam in a local Christian College.

I'm an agnostic actually and I read the Bible from Genesis to Revolutions.Well, if I'm going to have an opinion, I should read up about it. I first read it when I was 8 and thought this is kind of odd, even schizophrenic you could say. It didn't fit. God changes from Genesis to Revolutions, and the Old testament is really quite different from the New. They are two different books. And I've read different versions too and the history of how the Bible came to be. One of the main reasons why I turned from Christianity.

I'm a devout catholic and i haven't read the bible cover to cover, athiests have the right to believe what they want to believe and shouldn't read a half true book they don't believe in. The athiests i know are good people with morals. Some people just don't need religion.

I have. I've also read the Koran and the Vedas. I go to a catholic school where I'm forced to take "religion" as a class. I have argued down every one of my teachers on any religious subject and can quote the bible better then our monsignor. I am an atheist.
