In some ways it is true, but not really. Blood as an example has about 65% water. If you extract the water from pork blood, it is just water, not pork. Gelitin is one of the components found in all animale, including humans. This component is found in the hooves of just about every animal. It is just a chemical composition found everywhere. That doesn't make it pork.pp

I'm pretty sure there is no pork in marshmallows so mellow out and have a couple and if you like you could roast them over the stove but be careful

Its very possible, Muslims and Jews only eat Kosher marshmallows for that reason. Although the source of gelatin isn't limited to a pig, many don't take the chance.

Probably not pork, but other animals. It depends if you are vegetarian or non-pork on whether it is a concern for you.
