in the arm pit there is a nerve junction called the vegas. You can knock a person out with a good punch to this point. However getting to a strike there is very difficult. A good strike to the arteries in the neck can have a similar effect and is easier to get at

Temporary paralysis? Sounds like more dim mak B.S. to me. About the only temporary paralysis I know is the relative kind. As in, paralysis resulting from severe spinal trauma is temporary compared to the length of eternity.

Now, dazing someone is a completely different issue. Don't believe that you can daze someone, or even knock them out, by hitting a sequence of pressure points on their wrist or arm or inner thigh, or whatever. If you want to daze someone, which could be interpreted as temporary paralysis, then you can punch them hard on the jaw or kick them three or four time in the balls. That pretty much stuns most people.

Horse crap. You can't temporarily paralyse a person. You can put pressure on pressure points, or pass out a person, but temporary paralysis, I doubt one could do it! Perminant is another story.

I am not 100% sure, in theory, learned in American Kenpo, if you quickly poke someone on the side of the throat pinching the carotid artery it will stall the flow of bllod to the brain and cause them to faint.

I learned from a friend that you can punch someone in the throat and the natural reaction is for both hands to come up and protect the neck. Then kick to the groin, the natural reaction is to bring hands to protect the grion. From here, the throat is exposed. Get the picture, repeat until bored.
