i have been friends with him for a long long time and it kills me to see him with someone else how do i tell him. i dont want to break them up i just want him to knoe how i feel but i cant get the nerve and i dont knoe how to begin to explain it. what do i do and how do i go about it?

you dont. leave them how they are...most relationships dont last long anyways..so wait it out and think about doing it when hes single...doing it now will destroy your friendship with him.

Firstly answer yourself this--will it actually benefit him in any way to learn this or will it hurt his relationship with the person he's with?
If he hasn't picked up on your signals by now, he doesn't know how you feel. Revealing it to him won't do you any good for yourself other than to keep some sort of hope going. He's entitled to his life, and has a girlfriend. You didn't step up and ask to be that girlfriend and he didn't see it, so will it actually help anything other than your feelings?
You can wait an see how the relationship goes and step in if it fails. You can hold your words and just be a friend as he's always seen you. You can get involved with someone else where you DO have a chance at an honest relationship. Or you can torture yourself and make him miserable, which doesn't help anything.
You had a chance before, but didn't take it. The guys aren't the ones that have to make both sides of a relationship work--the guy can't read minds, so you should have said something before. Now it's too late.
I'd suggest starting to date with others and see what happens when you do have a guy on the same wavelength as you are.

just sit him down and tell him there is no easy way about this is either you tell him or not if you tell him the reply will be the same no matter how you go about telling him. good luck!!

You should go on a walk with him, walking makes you feel relaxed and he could take it better, you should tell slowly and look into his eyes and don't look away :)

All you have to do is tell him straight up. It might be hard for you to do but he'll respect it and realize that you are strong enough to do so.
