My parents think its a bad site because of girls getting kidnap. And there so overe protective. But i just talk to my friends its like a email but you can decorate your page.How can I break it down to them?

Give them your password to it and the URL and everything so that they can see for themselves you arent talking to strangers or doing anything bad. Let them check it whenever they want. Its their job to protect you and you should let them.

Well, first, show them your page, that you're not really hiding anything from them, then just tell them that you only have your friends on it, and its a good way to keep up with them.
And if you get any "unwanted" messages, or if your parents say that, you could always block messages from people that aren't your friends.

In my opinion Myspace is not that safe. But if your parents will listen to you just explain to them that youre not doing anything stupid and you are a responsible kid. And just show them that you are responsible.

If you make your myspace PRIVATE so no one can see or message you without being your friend, i see no problem...
and don't give your personal information to anyone you do not know. not even the city you live in... hugs

OK YOU WILL PROBABLY THINK IM CRAZY BUT I HAVE A 22YR OLD AND A 17 YR OLD WELL MY YOUNGEST HAS A MYSPACE WELL SO DO I AND I AM HIS FRIEND SO I KNOW WHO HE IS TALKING TO AND IF THERE IS ANYTHING THAT SHOULD NOT BE GOING ON I DONT WANT TO INVADE HIS PRIVACY LIKE KNOW HIS PASSWORD I JUST WANT TO BE ABLE TO HAVE A WATCHFULL EYE ON HIS PAGE I DONT SEE ANYTHING WRONG WITH MYSPACE AND YOUR PARENTS SHOULD KNOW YOU HAVE ONE INVITE THEM TO HAVE ONE AND BECOME YOUR FRIEND YOU COULD SEND CUTE LIL PICS BACK AND FORTH ITS REALLY CRAZY MY SONS FRIENDS HAVE REQUESTED ME AS FRIENDS AND THEY SAY I AM THE COOLEST MOM
