Or Goddess? Or whatever your concept of divinity may be?
Where do you find it?
(Not where should others find it, where do YOU find it?)

I've heard many say he can be found in prison (LOL - it is Saturday night after all!) but for me personally, I find God in many places, things and experiences - sometimes alone, sometimes when in the company of others. A beautiful day, early morning on the beach, early evening in Sedona, Arizona, having a "girls night" with my daughter, having a lazy and long conversation about life over coffee with my Mom, receiving help from a stranger when stranded on the side of the road - those are just a few examples.

Nature.
People.
Music
My own feelings
My own thoughts.
Books
Silence.
Laughter
Love
Tears
In my dreams.
In my Heart.

The List is endless....I could easily say in everything and everyone and everywhere.
Perhaps I recognize Divinity more often, as I become more aware of how everything is connected to the one source.
I find God within me and I find God all around me Orpheus.
I see no-thing and no place where God cannot be found.

Peace my friend!

"The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by hands. And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything, because he himself gives all men life and breath and everything else. From one man he made every nation of men, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he determined the times set for them and the exact places where they should live. God did this so that men would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from each one of us. 'For in him we live and move and have our being.' As some of your own poets have said, 'We are his offspring.'

"Therefore since we are God's offspring, we should not think that the divine being is like gold or silver or stone—an image made by man's design and skill. In the past God overlooked such ignorance, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent. For he has set a day when he will judge the world with justice by the man he has appointed. He has given proof of this to all men by raising him from the dead."

Acts 17:24-31

"But the righteousness that is by faith says: "Do not say in your heart, 'Who will ascend into heaven?'" (that is, to bring Christ down) "or 'Who will descend into the deep?'" (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead). But what does it say? "The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart," that is, the word of faith we are proclaiming: That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. As the Scripture says, "Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame." For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, for, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."

God is in and of all things.

We have our being in him.

He is the fount of all being.

He encompasses all things.

He is the one and only.

God is love.

He is above all and in all and through all.

He is all emanation. Everything emanates from him.

God is neither he, she or it.

God is beyond knowing.

God is all that is known and all that is unknown.

All that is "IS" in him.

He is all there is but all there is does not contain him.

God is the entire radiance that surrounds us.

All things are light and energy.

God is all light and energy.

He is all that I can know and all that I can not concieve.

I but gaze in awe.

Blessings and peace,
All in all,
B

He found me. I was looking in all the wrong places, when He came and found me. His name is Jesus. He showed Himself to me in love, acceptance, hope. Today, I find Him in His Word, the Bible, in prayer, in others who love Him and who know they are loved by Him. Sometimes I meet Him in the middle of the worst troubles, worries, tragedies. But He is always there.
Thank you for giving me a chance to go over this. It's good for me! I find Him as I answer this question.

For me it is "feeling" God...in every moment that I am aware, which is still in process. I feel God as a stirring of recognition of another, in nature, in a word that vibrates inspiration, in music that captures my "attending," in a color that sings eternity in that moment, in anomalies and juxtapositions--the unexpected, in laughter (alone or shared), in smiles offered and given, in Truth when it hits me between the eyes, in sorrow, in despair, in effort fulfilled or failed, in emptiness and fullness and degrees in between, in every breath that enlivens me, in the ones who are close to me--the ones I love and who love me, in silence, in everything; for Divinity encompasses everything, both seen and unseen, conceivable and unconceivable. we find God in Jesus Christ, in his most sacred heart. The Blessed Virgin Mary is here to lead all souls to her divine son, our Lord Jesus Christ.

The "joy of a child" is probably the closest description of when I've felt close to it (so I guess the answer is, "within myself").
