and he says im pretty and that he likes me but a couple years ago he hated me what changed i have liked him since we were little and the more i get to know him the more i like him but i had asked him out a couple times and he always said no but now that things have changed should i ask him out again? or should i not risk ruining the new friendship me n him always hang out and he gives me hugs and stuff but c hes drinks n smokes pot ocassionaly but if i tell him not to then he listens and wont do it around me so i feel like maybe were good together but im still unsure as to whether or not i should do anything plz help me

If he really loves you and wants to stay around, he'll quit all together. He can still die even if it's not around you. Guys sometimes treat girls they like like crap so he may have liked you all along but been too embarrassed by his friends to say yes. If you really want to date him, ask him out again.

maybe the guy actually liked you then but as some guys are immature he couldn't express it. The drinking and pot on the other hand are a different story. If he is still a young guy "high school" or "just out of high school" i would stay away from him because getting drunk and smoking pot can lead to worse things.

Has anything physically changed with you in the last couple of years? If so, he may want to have a physical relationship with you (wanting just one thing). If you aren't too sure of his motives, maybe just hang out as friends and see where it goes.

Sounds like you're relatively very young, so I would think that you probably hit puberty with full force. Extra curves on your anatomy probably gained his attention, either that or he just 'discovered' he likes chicks. Sounds like he just discovered drugs as well. Sorry honey, just because you tell him you don't want him smoking weed and drinking, he's not likely to. He just won't do it while you're around. Honestly, if I were you, I would not seek a boyfriend\girlfriend relationship with him at the moment.

It sounds like puberty struck. You might as well take a shot. Unlike girls, guys aren't completely put off when they find out a member of the opposite sex is attracted to them.

he could just be trying to get down your pants. so i woulds just stay freinds until you feel more comfortable with the idea of going any farther with him. as far as the dinking and drugs go its good that he is not doing them around you but if you get in a serious relationship and he is in you car or in your house with drugs its possible if he gets caught that you could go down with him
