Hi Whisper
This is a favorite question for people who wish to discredit the Bible, but it asumes certain facts that aren't applicable to the first people. Adam and Ever were created directly by God. They were "very good" - they didn't have any genetic defects. Many people mistakenly think that sibling marriage is considered wrong to fulfil some arbitrary moral rule. This is not the actual case.
The problem with sibling marriage only arises when our genetic code becomes corrupted (a result of the Fall) and close relatives tend to produce more birth defects. The rise of recessive genes (copying errors) as time passed reequired the codification of laws about marriage between close relatives. There are many well-documented instances of ancient marriages between siblings and it was even customary for some Egyptian Pharohs to marry their sisters.
The Bible only identifies a couple of Adam and Eve's children but says they had many more sons and daughters. It makes perfect sense that these "seed people" would marry each other and have more children. It isn't until Moses that we have an actual proscription of marriage between close relations. I assume that by this time recessive genes were becoming an issue and God instituted this rule to protect his people.
Interestingly, I just read an article that England is considering expanding the ban to include marriage between first cousins for this very reason. The recessive genes are becoming such an issue that they are seeing a marked rise in birth defects in small closely related communities.
So Cain probably married a sister, or possibly a niece, however at least some of the sons of Adam must have married their sisters. It is only from our modern perspective, shaped by thousands of years of genetic entropy, that it would raise any eyebrows.

Adam and Eve were 8th creations. The rest of the races were 6th day creations. The Bible and your common sense should tell you that we are not all of the same seed pool or of the same race. Just look around you for verification.
Also, Cain went to the land of Nod and took a wife there.
Where did those folks come from?
GENESIS 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
GENESIS 2:2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
GENESIS 2:7 And the LORD God formed man (Adam) of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul

Well That's the general thought but it's wrong. The Bible in Genisis states that God made man and woman and told them to be fruitful and multiply before he made Adam and Eve and the Garden of Eden. Most people mistake the opening chapters of Genisis as doubling back on itself like the structure of a Quentin Tarantino film. It doesn't. If you read the BIble this way it also explains the reason Cain had to be afraid of others when he was banished. Does that answer your question?

The editors are working on how to remove those verses from the Bible.
If Bible was word of God and God spoke Jesus in English languge then there shouldn't be any need to remove verses from Bible.
I answered few times before, but few people can read the answer because questions move too fast in back pages .
EVE delivered twins (a boy and a girl) each time she delivered babies. God knows how many twins Eve delivered.
God gave Adam and Eve rule that a boy and a girl born as twins are real brother and sister and can not marry each other. But they were allowed to marry boys and girls from other twins. They were like first cousins.
It is senseless to apply 20th century incest rules on the children of Adam and Eve. Those days people lived 1000 years and more and marrying first cousin did not make defective children. .
Christians have made a huge taboo on marrying a cousin sister like it is a big sin and they think that their every child will be born deformed if they marry a cousin. We see less defective children there than in America because of pregnant women drinking alcohols, drugs, and certain Syndrom..........I can not recall the name of syndrom that effects slight abnoramlity in speech, walking and being over weight
Even today in Arab Countries most people marry within their family or tribe to their cousin sisters to continue strong ties between the families.
A wife who is neice of huband's parents, have more respect and treats them with honor as compared to strangers with whom she never had relation before. See in society of USA, the wife often doesn't respect her in-laws and never wants to take care of them. On the other hand Muslim marriages last longer because the couple gets counselling help from their elders living in the family.

If that were the case and Adam and eve were the same race, then where did we get the other races. This question has been done to death. So read the first three pages of Genesis and then it SHOULD become clear to you.

Eve gave birth to different races. Therefore, different gene pools. The bible states that only Seth was born from Adam, in his image; the bible states the other children came from God in his image.

A gentle answer to your question: Sex described or implied in the Bible does not make sense because it flies in the face of what "believers" have been told today. That includes incest, polygamy, etc...
A harsh answer to your question: The editors are working on how to remove those verses from the Bible.

The Torah says that God created other men and women beside Adam and Eve, cause He will not be contradicted in His own words.

If everyone came from Adam and Eve, then incest would've been the only way to reproduce. If the only person around to mate with is your sister, you will have her and like it.
