dangit... i can't seem to stay a christian very long. i tried. what happened to me? these atheists started confronting me with questions i couldn't answer. what's the best way to handle this situation next time i become a born again christian?

I am not judging you but if you don't have a relationship with Christ then you were never a true beliver anyway. I say this because once you truly have a relationship with Jesus its impossible to deny or doubt his existence. But not everyone has that kind of faith which is why I am supposed to share it with people who have doubts. You have to realize God doesn't think the way we do. Some things God does seems contradictory to us. Take the Trinity. Yes it doesn't make sense to us because its such an alien concept 3 people in one essence. Or the Kingdom of Heaven
First Jesus said its here then He says its not here... but in close study we see that the kingdom is actualy both here and not here which is contradictory but all evidence supports it as a fact...its a mystery. Just remmember your relationship with Christ is the key to "staying Christian" if you will. Hang out with him and get to know him...also pray and talk to him and listen to what he has to say. You can truley have a relationship with him like you can anyone here on earth but you just can't see him with your eyes. I want to encourage you to get romantic with God no its not gay because God made women to show man how beautiful his creation is to him. Women are here to show you the love he has for us is the same as a husband loves a wife as they become one. I don't know why I just went on that rant maybe you needed to hear that. God loves you and he hasn't left your side. Your still his in his eyes and he welcomes your time when your ready to give it to him.
You are his beautiful bride. I know it sounds gay but its not its actualy a very beautiful illustration!

Just keep trying,if you want to believe hard enough, u will do, seek guidance from christians, dont listen to people trying to misguide u, u believe what you choose, not what someone else chooses for u, good luck, ive been there, its hard when u have so many people telling you different things but if you keep seeking, u will find

since your faith is so weak, you may want to start hanging out with Christians whose faith is stronger. when you get questions that tax your poor brain, ask a Christian who can provide you with an answer and give your spiritual strength.
but if this keeps happening to you, where you are easily and quickly led away from God - you may want to examine your heart for Him and decide if He is the answer for your life.
i'd be willing to guess that you have problems in all relationships, not just with God...

Lol...Do you expect a kindergartner to have all the knowledge a valedictorian of the graduating high school class does?
No...nor should anyone expect a new convert(to ANY religion) to have the knowledge of a member of that religion who has been in it their entire life.
