I like my steak thick and cooked rare.

Thick. I like to get my steaks 2" thick, rub them with olive oil, salt, pepper, a little bit of lemon, and some rosemary. Let it sit out on the counter for an hour to warm up and let the rub soak in, and then I grill them to a delicious medium rare. I serve it with some garlic mashed potatoes and a glass of Chianti. I personally prefer Porterhouse or Ribeye steaks.

Thick 1.5 to 2 inches and cooked to a nice rare to midrare.

It's really hard to cook properly when it's thin

I like mine about 1/2 inch thick and done medium rare

Preferably Porter House

more thick than thin, i think it has more flavor when its thick because it doesnt get dried out as easy and its more tender.
