Panasonic- is it toast?

Question

My daughter spilled some milk in my Panasonic DVR V105 camcorder. It was not on at the time. I drained it, and let it dry for a few days, and when I turned it on, I had sound but no video. I turned it off and back on, now I have nada. Nothing. Acts like there is not even a battery in it. But the battery is fully charged, and I checked it with a volt meter. Is there any thing I can do for this thing? I know, take it to the shop, or send it in, but I have had it completely apart and seen nothing wrong, no fried circuit boards, nothing except the small battery looked corroded. Like a button type battery, or a cmos battery in a pc.

So replace the button battery, but clean the little battery compartment and contacts first. The milk might have shorted out the button battery. As for the circuit boards, turning the camera on without properly cleaning them first might have resulted in a short circuit that may have damaged some of the components invisibly. If none of this works, take it to the shop.
