My mate's GF just dumped him coz he was out last night and a girl kissed him on the cheek. Apprantly 2 of his mates were talking to this girl, but he wasnt really followin the convo. She kissed them both on the cheek and asked him if he wanted one too. He said to not appear like a rude tw*t saying no, he said "OK". He mentioned it to his GF today and shes dumped him, theyve been together 2 years.
Do you think he is in the wrong?

Well.. depending on how the sitituation was at the exact moment... but from that i say no he wasnt wrong. If it was just an innocent kiss on the cheek then its okay. But you have to understand how he's ex-gf should feel. She probably feels hurt that he was out with some people, and he was kissed. so that jsut made her feel bad. If its nothing she will get over it.

not at all, I've been in a relationship for a year now and I kiss my best friend ( opposite sex ) on the cheek and forehead everytime I see her. Possibly his GF was just looking to get out of the relationship without seeming like the bad guy.

No its not cheating, only when its on the lips.
Kiss on the cheek is a sign of friendship, and did you know that when friends say hi in france, whether boy or girl, a kiss on the cheek is the custom?

Oh geez, she was totally over reacting. I kiss my male friends on the cheek, sometimes that is just custom to do. I'm married and neither my husband and I see anything wrong with a kiss on the cheek. That's just ridiculous....

well if he kissed her on the cheek maybe yes..but if it was her, then he should try to explain to his girlfriend the situation..
also where is this girl from? Because in some countries a kiss on the cheek is simply saying hello

I'd want anyone to kiss me on the cheeks. I'd even let a Frenchman kiss me on the cheeks. I crave affection.
If she dumped him over this, and ONLY this, then she is worthless.

I dont really see it as cheating; I let my girlfriend kiss her friends (and some of them are guys) on the cheek, and im fine with it as long as it goes no further than that.

No not at all. The girlfriend just overreacted a little bit in my opinion. He didn't give the girl a passionate kiss or anything.

Not in that situation. I'd be kind of angry if my boyfriend said 'yes' to that question, but wouldn't be mad that it happened. He can't control a kiss on the cheek.
