has god "healed" you?

did something bad happen in your life, but you found god, went to church, read the bible, etc. and it changed you for the better?

Many bad things have happened in my life, and because of them, I almost ended it.

And through it all, quite frankly, I found no "God." I almost wish I had sometimes, because that would've at least given me the hope to keep going. When I thought I had it all under control and I didn't, I had to turn to friends, and they were there for me.

But a "God" would've been nice, too.

That said, "God" didn't heal me, because at this point, I'm convinced there is no "God;" simply a lack thereof.

I healed myself. Because I'm the only one that can fix me.

Yes;Man has to come to the end of Himself;
Then God will be the most wanted thing in His Life'; Salvation most important-----as to Healing,Had Fusion of L5---6 Months later 4/5 disc and 3/4 Disc removed Surgon cut this time in front ,Left side to Groin opened like a can of Kraut,Metal cages with right Hip bone scrapings in cage screwed into spine,after Surgey, I was taking every legal Pain killer, no help,went to Pentecostal meeting , there was Singing and Comunion and anyone needing Prayer stand forth;
The oil bottle came out and I was Prayed for,Didn"t feel a thing a Month later I was walking, sometime later 3 Miles, My Healing came I take no "Pain " Med" work on cars -operate Equipment;
I was saved as a Child, When I needed God He was there,He is the One Person that will be there
when it looks like Hell,You feel like Hell,You can"t take another step,He has never lost a case;

No not yet but I'm working on it and with any luck it will happen. Ha, I just started going back to church last week after being MIA for the last 10 years. Lord knows nothing has brought me any happiness in the last 10 years so I thought well why not what have I got to lose, nothing, so might as well. =)

Yes.
I was born again when I didn't even know such a thing was possible.
Through faith in the name of Jesus a great burden of guilt and shame and darkness and hopelessness were lifted off of me in an instant and replaced with a great peace, and joy and hope and love and understanding that God had reconciled me to Himself through the sacrificial death of His Son, and that He had welcomed me into His household, and made me to be an heir of heaven - all because of what Jesus has done for me. I have lived in the peace of God now over 30 years, and He has kept me and sustained me and delivered me from many self destructive influences, making my life useful and meaningful.
And after this - eternal life!

So THAT'S how he does it! I wondered. Sure. To win converts, he kills parents in car crashes and children in skating accidents and he starts fires and sets off bombs! Sheesh! Classic! So simple I NEVER THOUGHT OF IT BEFORE!!! That god, boy, he's dang clever, I'll say.

I found Satan, my mind has been getting clearer ever since. As far as the xian "god" is concerned. His followers brainwashed me as a child, I also was not what you would have called a, mentally health kid. So tell me, what's so special about this "god" of yours?
