how can i tell my mate that i love her?

well it really does feel wrong but i have felt like this for about 9 months and my love for her has grew its just undescribable it really is. she is like my best mate well she is my best mate but in some way i think that she feels the same, but i really want her to no but i am worried that she could take it the wrong way , but in some way i think she would be okay with it because she is a real good mate . it is real love because i cant stop thinking of her i love her more than words can describe . how can i tell her?

and some people would tell me to get over her but i see her everyday talk to her everyday hug her everyday we really are very close so.

yes we are both girls,and no i consider myself bisexual rather than lesbian . but really i want to tell her i just dont no what to say

First of all, note to the Americans here -- I assume you're using "mate" to mean the same as "friend".

Next -- I think you need to give us a lot more detail. I assume you and she are both female, right? In that case, have you had lesbian feelings before that she knows of? Have you had lesbian experiences that she knows of? Has she had such feelings and experiences? How old are you two? Are you in a culture that really looks down on such things, and how much? (In the US, there's even a college-student acronym LUG for Lesbians Until Graduation.)

If you two were of opposite sexes, I'd say you can assume the possibility of romance has crossed her mind many times, and you should just communicate openly. If she's of the same sex, however, you need to build up to such a subject more slowly, unless you have some reasons for assuming that it's already in her mind.
