The best and only place to apply for federal government Pell Grants and financial aid is the FAFSA website. It is free to apply for consideration. You will qualify for need based scholarships, work study program, and student loans. Your financial aid will be dependent upon your family income and savings since you will be considered an independent student. I will include some other free resources to locate money for college. Good luck!

Go and ask local financial aid officers for help.
And you are required to file FAFSA starting from January 1, 2008. The early you apply, the better chance you get funds for your education. If you qualify and get aid package, you can get pell grant and smog grant, which are need-based. Also, you can get work-study program and apply for other merit-based scholarships. If you really need to take a loan, go and talk to financial people and ask them which term of a particular load works for you.

it is declared as a FASFA (federal application for pupil monetary help) variety. you will get it on line or from the monetary help workplace. this would in basic terms help with FEDERAL monetary help - maximum faculties have their very own scholarships besides and that they'd have categories.
