Was just curious- do you see Northern Irish people who relocate to your area as immigrants as well?
Or do you see them as UK citizens also with every right to live within the whole of the UK?

That's a rather odd question. I would have thought it would have been more in reference to Republic of Ireland immigrants or Northern Irelanders being immigrants to the Republic of Ireland.

Republic of Ireland has allowed for those who were born in Northern Ireland to be Irish if they had British parents until 2004 which is quite interesting. Now the rules have changed but if an British citizen gives birth in Ireland the child will automatically have Irish citizenship.

But Northerin Irish people are Brits. Irish first though.

UK citizens also with every right to live within the whole of the UK?
Yes they are.
I have worked all my adult life, paid taxes and have never claimed benefits from my own country.
I would say that if the idea was to come here and work then agreed. Come here to claim then that is a no go. You can do that in NI. ádh mór ort.

No I would not see Northern Irish people relocating here as immigrants because NI is currently still part of the UK!

Come on over, I love the Irish, they are very welcome here. My great great grandparents came to the UK from Southern Ireland as immigrants in the late 19th Century,

Northern Ireland is part of UK, therefore they are not immigrants, its just the same as moving house like any other mainland person.
