nor either feminine or masculine.just one god, someone once told me neo-wiccans may hold this belief , but i look it up in the net and it still says all wiccans including them ,belief on the god/goddess concept. In my personal view i feel that God cannot be divided. God simply is. The Universe simply is. What is simply is. All our thoughts and concepts divide Is-ness in our minds, and divide our minds from Is-ness.
but thats just me..is any of you wiccans out there that believe on only one god, is it possible to be wiccan and hold this belief at the same time?

Love, it is entirely possible to worship ONE God either as Goddess or as God or as an androgenous God (no gender at all, or BOTH genders in one being). That's the wonderful thing about being a Wiccan, there ARE no rules to go by. If the only way that YOU are able to form a meaningful relationship with Deity is as ONE person, with one or NO genders then that is perfectly acceptable to Deity. Deity forms a unique relationship with each and every single one of us and does so in the easiest manner and most meaningful fashion that the worshipper feels comfortable with. If that means being monotheistic then, so mote it be. If it actually WORKS for you then GO with it. Don't let anyone tell you it's wrong or just not done. If it works for you then it IS right for you. Period. I know of several Witches who work in that way and feel perfectly comfortable with that and are comfortable with ALL the other Witches who do NOT worship a single Deity. You need no one's permisin OR approval to follow your heart and your calling. Only that Deity that has chosen you as his/her follower and yourself are what matters. Of course you are going to have to be imaginative and form your own rituals and everything else around that concept, but, it is not impossible and actually could be quite attractive if you do a good job of it.

Some Wiccans believe the God and Goddess are aspects of a larger being the call the All, or the One, or a few other names. I think Wiccans are missing the point of Wicca if they start approaching the All instead of individual deities (some believe in the All but do not personally address it). To take out the God and Goddess even as aspects of this larger being is to destroy the entire foundation of Wiccan thought and ritual.
There's nothing wrong with being a monotheist. But I don't know why a monotheist would call himself or herself Wiccan. I don't know why he or she would use Wiccan ritual and I don't know how they could fit the majority of Wiccan views on the universe into their own belief system. In short, I don't know what would be left in your belief system that would make it look particularly Wiccan. Wicca is based on a system of complementary opposites. It's symbolism is rooted within that base.
BTW, "neo-Wiccan" is a term that some Traditionalist Wiccans use for Eclectics. If someone says something is a "neo-Wiccan" belief they are saying that it is not Wiccan.

No. If it's monotheistic, it's really not Wicca. Wicca is, by definition, Duotheistic (two deities, a Goddess and a Horned God), though some Wiccans are polytheistic. Some feminist traditions worship the Goddess only, but I think they would be considered Henotheists rather than Monotheists. A Henotheist believes that other Gods exist, they just worship only one of them. You can be a Wiccan Henotheist, and worship one God, but still acknowledge the existence of other Gods that you do not worship. But Monotheism and Wicca are mutually exclusive.
There aren't a lot of dogmas in Wicca, but there are some defining characteristics, the Goddess/God concept being one of them. Neo-Wicca is not a flattering term. It refers to people who throw something together with no basis to it, and call it Wicca. I've sometimes seen it called McWicca.
Now, I'm not saying that your Monotheism is wrong, only that Wicca might be the wrong path for you. If you are interested in Magick, look into Ceremonial Magick and Qabalah, as those paths can be compatable with either a Monotheistic or Polytheistic world view.

Most Pagans hold a polytheistic view: meaning more than one God/dess. (The exception being Dianic Wiccans who recognize a Goddess deity only.) I myself believe there is one God and one Goddess; all the other names refer to aspects or personalities of the same God and Goddess.
Ancient believers recognized a fertility Goddess (the Goddess of Willendorf statue may be the oldest in existance) and also a God of the hunt.
But for your question: Is it POSSIBLE there is only one? Sure, it's possible. It's also possible that there is none at all. Since religious beliefs can't really be proven, all opinions are just that: opinions.

To have ONE only that you pray or worship too yes but saying that is the ONLY god NO.
some prefer to pray to specific gods or goddesses.
Wiccan's I can not be 100% sure for I am Pagan not Wiccan but we do accept the belief in more than one god but some only practice worship of just one out of the Pantheon they are in.
Hope that helps.

If I understand them correctly Dianic Wiccans sometimes only have one Goddess. There are also Christian Wiccans who have only one God. The difference is that Wiccans respect the rights of every individual to see God as they wish, or to have their own gods. For a while I was a monotheist and thought Loki (Chaos) was the only God.

I have only one God in my life, as I also have a Goddess. To me they are one in the same. I do believe that there are lesser powerful beings that help the two perform what they are not allowed to do sometimes, because there are laws about direct interference in some situations.
What I enjoy about Wicca, unlike some other religons, is that there is room for freedom of thought, and if you believe a little differently from the next person you are not shunned for beliveing differently than them.

Not positive on this, but I have no problem as an eclectic Wiccan seeing a single deity, either combining both feminine and masculine or denying them both.
Not something I'd personnaly like to work with as I see all natural entities having their own spirit.
Eclectically you can beleive what you want and if that is the way you God/Godess/Gods reveal themselves to you then that is is the way it is for you.

No.
Wicca is polytheistic.
Even forms of Wicca called Duotheistic make a distinction between the Christian god and "God of the Witches" and the Primal Initiatrix and the all-mother, and that makes 4, not 2.
