I have a neighboor who is like a younger sister! I love her sooo much!

She thinks she is fat!

I'm always like "You are so pretty u are not fat!"

So we went to the bathroom and she weighed herself.

She is just turned 12 like... a month ago or somewhere around there.

So she just turned 12 and she is 116 lbs.
She said her weight bounces around. Sometimes its 118 and sometimes 115.

Is that fat?
What is the average?

she may be a little big, but shes certainly not fat.

is she tall because if she is then her weight is ok for her age but if she's not then maybe she's a little bit over the average weight she should be at. because i'm 21 and 119 Ibs but not too tall so if she's not tall too and 116 i think she should at least watch her weight

Who knows? We have no idea how tall this girl is. I can't believe you are on here talking about someone you say you love and is like your younger sister. At 12 I was 5 foot 4 and very busty and muscular. 116 would have made me quite slim.

Average for that age she about to have growth spurt and a look that is so increditable that she will and you will be surprised ! She will have figure to die for!!!
she might exercise at 15-16 to tighten up a little but not know shes to young!!!

Edit: At that height, she's nowhere near being "fat". She's comparing herself against what society and the media says she should be.
