Can a Physcians Assistant Numb a Patient in the head and lance a Abcess?? caused by a Infection or does that only have to be done by the Dr. ??

It depends on the state, the doctor the PA works under, and the practice/hospital. Seems like something they could do.

All states have different laws. If your not sure of the procedure then stop them and, ask for a regular doctor, it's your body.

In California they can. And God bless all the PA's out there. One saved my life once.
