The way I see it, I only want a job for the money. I don't really have an avid interest in anything besides video games, and cars. But from what I see, I don't really want to be a video game programmer or a car mechanic. Both aren't that great paying or exactly something to be proud of.
So is it wrong to want a high paying job, just because of the salary?

For example, I was thinking about being an anesthesiologist. They make like $100k+ from the get-go, and can make upwards of at least $300k. Is that type of career enough to live in the Hamptons and to get nice cars? That's my ideal future, but first, I plan to get my mom something really nice, like a car or some apartment in Puerto Rico or something.
As you can see, I have a future planned out, but I do not know the means to go about it.

I didn't mean I would invest all my money in cars, since most are a depreciative investment. I just meant I wanted to have the resources to own nice cars.

Now that I think about it, I actually do have some interest in Biology and Chemistry, and some math in there too. I wanted to be an engineer, but I can't stand Physics or Calculus, my worst subjects. (Not to say I'm doing terrible, but in an honors class, I'm getting 87s-88s as my average.)
