The real problem here is that people have forgotten what "I'm sorry" is supposed to mean. You say I'm sorry because you've hurt someone's feelings, not necessarily because you are wrong, or to blame for the argument. We have all forgotten that just because we can have different opinions, doesn't mean we can't respect one another. The appropriate thing to do here is say "I'm sorry I said something that made you upset. I still stand by my position, though, and hope you can respect that."

The use of 'sorry' in a sentence or when excusing some inappropriate action, can only be explained because of the ingrown polite expression. It is used so much that it now becomes an unconscious act. It does not matter if one means it, but is accepted as an excuse for the act that was made.

It's just a figure of speach, these days. So no, they are not really sorry.
And I'm sorry, but Cowell has done a huge PR thing down south where Same Difference are from, involving a lot of local schools and free concerts. Don't be surprised if the school voters win it for them. Disgraceful! ;-)

properly it sounds to me such as you're doing this no longer considering the fact which you desire to help the needy yet considering the fact which you're failing a class and your instructor provides you with greater suitable credit in case you convey greater foodstuff. certainly in my view if each and each guy or woman brings a million can of foodstuff it is sufficient to make a difference in a small team of needy human beings. 28 cans? it is insane. I help breast maximum cancers study and that i purely donate $5 a month, yet each penny enables, purely like countless can enables. in case you had studied greater and finished all your paintings then you definately would not want all this further funds for foodstuff reason if truth be told what your doing is paying for your grade, how unhappy. what's that this international coming to.

Mean it or not. It's being polite and generally people do not delibrately want to upset others. Even if they disagree it doesn't hurt to say sorry so the subject gets dropped and everyone moves on.

They are definitely better than chuffing Rhydian. All 3 acts tonight are poor, but one thing is for sure; the British public know nothing about music and cannot be trusted to choose the best act. This should be left to music critics.

I've almost never stayed around for people to apologize because most of their excuses are BS. As for me, I mean it whenever I say that I am sorry.

Your stepdaughter sounds too bratty and ill-mannered to get anything for Christmas but a copy of Emily Post's Etiquette book.
Are you two raising a barbarian?
