i wanted to get a spiral perm to,so I asked my hair dresser.I was 13 and she said that I should wait because with our bodies changing so much from hormones,it doesn't do much when they do it.She told me to wait until I was about 17 and see.GOOD LUCK!

Those went out in the 80's...but who cares right? If you like it then by all means DO IT! I don't know how old you need to be, a salon would probably want a parent to be with you if you're under 18.
