You can go on any website and find out what they do in the temple, do they talk to the dead, some people say the dead have come to say thanks for the ordiance (babtism for the dead) so yes they see dead people, LOL.
GOD DOES NOT PUNISH PEOPLE, the way the mormon God does, God is a loving God and liek the God of the mormons or the mythology God of the mormons.

1) Go to the Temple and find out.
2) To remind me of the covenants I've made to with God.
3) No talking to the dead that I know of...unless God sends a messenger to the prophet or something like that.
4) Some yes...but that is why I study, ponder, and pray about things I don't understand. It is a method that seems to work for most of us.
5) Why is that considered upside down for stars? the stars represents the telestrial kingdom.
6) God sees all.
7) Darker skin was given to those who rejected God to delineate them from those who did not. It only really applied to the division of the brothers...because later on...even though there were wars between the nephites and the Lamanites...many times the Lamanites were more righteous than the Nephites because some of the the Nephites got a bit full of themselves and had blessings taken away...where as many of the Lamanites humbled themselves before God and were blessed.
8) Prepare to attend the temple and find out for yourself.
9) It isn't a secret...it is sacred. I didn't understand what was meant by that until I went to the temple. For me, what happens in the temple is beyond words...and I could never explain it in a way that could convey the sacredness of it...so I keep my mouth shut on the topic.
10) Don't understand where your comment about Jesus wanting us to pray in private came from...but it is true. WE pray in private (alone), as a couple (if married), as a family, we open and close meeting with prayer, we pray a lot.
11) SO if you got the information from the Website...why are you asking us...what did the website say that confused you about the stars and the all seeing eye.

"Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you." (Matt. 7:6; KJV) Sacred and secretive are very different. "Sacred" describes something that is holy. "Secretive" describes a person who is reticent about sharing information. We aren't "secretive" by nature but when it comes to the temple rituals there are certain things we don't discuss. That being said, I think the verse I quoted above is helpful in understanding why we don't talk about it. Unfortunately, the nature of those who are not believers in what someone else believes is often to belittle or make light of that belief. Even if you are not that type of person, would you honor and respect our rituals if I discussed them with you? How can I know you wouldn't share them with somebody who definitely would not? And even if you did respect and honor that which was sacred, would you be ready for it if I told you? Probably not. Which is why the Savior's counsel about "pearls" is applicable to the temple rituals. (Please note that this is a metaphor He was using. I do not, nor does He, think of you as a swine or a dog). If you want, I can make this even more plain. Think of something else that is sacred. I would submit that there are certain family memories that are sacred that all of us have. Perhaps something that a family member did for you that really showed how much they loved you. Now imagine that someone who does not place the same value on your family memories wants you to share that experience. Imagine that they may share that with someone who will mock you for it or, even more likely, will not cherish it the same way you do. Would you be so gung-ho about sharing it? Probably not. Certain things are just too sacred to be shared. I'm not trying to be rude either but I just don't understand why that is difficult to understand. But I appreciate you asking and hope this helps. So what can we tell you about the temple rituals? Simply this: that everything we learn and all the covenants we make, you can find in the Bible. It's all there, if you look for it. And you don't even have to look very hard.

>>What do mormons do in the Temple Rituals?<<
Sorry, that's confidential, and between me and God.
>>Why do they wear undergarments?<<
To remind us of the sacred covenants we make in the temple.
>>Do mormons talk to the dead?<<
Absolutely not. We do vicarious baptisms, but we don't talk to the dead, or communicate with them in any way.
>>Do you ever question your beliefs?<<
Of course, everyone should question their beliefs all the time.
>>Do you have upside down stars called starstones in your churches?<<
The Salt Lake and Nauvoo temples both have inverted stars on them, I don't know what they;re called, tho.
>>Why do you have the All seeing eye that is associated with masonry and also satanic symbol??<<
Hhhmmm, never seen that.
However, whether or not a symbol is a Satanic symbol depends on who's calling it. I mean, who gave Satanists the authority to say, This is a symbol of Satan and no one can use it for anything else.
>>Why did your book of mormon say that god punished people with dark skin?<<
God took the people who were unrighteous, and cursed them, and as a MARK of the curse, they were given dark skin.
>>What kind of rituals go on in the Temple Right? Why is it secret?<<
It's not secret, it's sacred. Read Matthew 7:6.

That's so simplistic to say that five pointed stars are pagan or satanic. You watch too many movies and t.v. shows
As for an answer on that please see link.
http://www.fairlds.org/pubs/Stars.pdf
Here a link to the question on why
did God punish people with dark skin in the book of Mormon?
http://www.fairlds.org/FAIR_Conferences/2003_Charge_of_Racism_in_the_Book_of_Mormon.html
The Temple rituals which you can find in places on the internet, which that we baptize by proxy for our dead relatives who haven't had a chance to hear the gospel.
Marriage not for death to us part, but Marriage for all time and eternity. The endowment ceremony which I will be honest
the vehicle or ritualistic part came from masonry. Joseph Smith said the secret of Masonry is keeping a secret.
It's where we make covenants with God that we will keep his commandments and we will blessed in this life and the time hereafter. It has been water downed in modern times mainly because polygamy, and other doctrines are not around anymore and the church needed to modernize itself.

Well I am not Mormon but I have read the book of Mormon, doctrines and covenants and the pearl of great price so I am knowledgable about the subject. First the temple rituals are sacred and personal so I doubt any Mormon will talk about them and I don't really think they should. Next the sacred garments are given between man and wife and it is a sign of commitment to each other. They are not magic. In a way they do talk to the dead in the sense they baptize for the dead. I do not know of any actual dialogue but some how they believe a certain dead person does want to be baptized. Nexit I have never heard of the upside down stairs.
and last the all seing eye is a masonic symbol but it is also on our money so I doubt it is Satanic. Mormons have many Masonic rituals and many are Masons but try not to believe all the conspiracy theory stuff we do not truely know what Masons do in their secret meeting. I just know they have done many good works through the childrens hospitals.
hope that helps a bit
To the LDS out there that answer this question this person may be a troll just try to make you mad but this time I think they really want to know so try to explain as much as you can some of us are sincerely interested like myself.

Sacred ordinances.
Because we receive blessings. Rev 3:5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
No, but then Jesus said God is the God of the living not the dead.
I question everything and then search out an answer.
You are not trying very hard.
Most church buildings do not have star symbols. A few temples may. Along with sunstones and moonstones, they represent the three kingdoms of heaven.
I have not seen an all seeing eye except on the dollar. You may be more expert on satanic symbols than I am.
I don't know why the BOM says certain things. That was Nephi's opinion.
Rituals required for salvation.
Why did Jesus say to pray in private?

Okay, I will answer your questions one by one, hang tight, kay?
What do mormons do in the Temple Rituals?
There are three main ordinances performed in the temple: Baptism of proxies for the dead, endowments, and sealings to spouse and children.
Why do they wear undergarments?
The garments are a reminder of the covenants we made during the endowment ceremony, a covenant we made with God.
Do mormons talk to the dead? No, but I *personally* believe the veil is thin, and they are listening a lot more closely than we realize. That's not a church belief, that's my personal belief.
Do you ever question your beliefs? I do, and when I have them, I seek answers. It obviously hasn't shaken up too much.
Do you have upside down stars called starstones in your churches? Not that I have seen.....are you talking about the temple, or in chapels?
Why do you have the All seeing eye that is associated with masonry and also satanic symbol?? Once again, something I wasn't aware of.
Why did your book of mormon say that god punished people with dark skin? "And [the Lord] had caused the cursing to come upon [the Lamanites], yea, even a sore cursing, because of their iniquity. For behold, they had hardened their hearts against him, that they had become like unto a flint; wherefore, as they were white, and exceedingly fair and delightsome, that they might not be enticing unto [the Nephites] the Lord God did cause a skin of blackness to come upon them."
We are now very much against prejusice, but many other churches believe this too, about the mark of Cain
What kind of rituals go on in the Temple Right? Why is it secret? I already answered this, see first question. It is not a secret what goes on, but we generally don't discuss it with nonbelievers because it is sacred to us, and non-believers have a tendency to be irreverent with the things we hold sacred, like calling garments magic underwear.

I am not Mormon nor do I subscribe to any known religion; I consider them one and all to be equally valid. I should add, for honesty, that I consider the suppositions that the earth is, as it says in the bible, about 6700 years old and that Moses was an actual, real person, an assumption by true believers, to be equally valid. It is obvious to me that the figure Moses was/is allegorical and therefore to consider him to be a real person in history would require some evidence that he ever existed. There is none!
Therefore, if I need to point out the obvious, to consider all religions to be equally valid implies that they are all, each and every one = invalid.
I spent almost three years in Utah (job transfer) and I found them to be good neighbors
I had the occasion upon reading in the main newspaper, (at the time, early 90's, it was owned by a Catholic family), that the Mormons converted (saved) dead people. I took this article to work, I worked exclusively with Mormons, and read it to the entire staff. I was informed that they do not convert dead people but the...soul...of dead people.
I asked whether they ever had "souls" which declined the conversion. They indicated that the soul could decline but most didn't.
Famous people are claimed by the church including several well known atheists such as Einstein, Isaac Asimov and Samuel Clemens, you might know him as Mark Twain. Mark Twain's favorite city, by the way, was Heidelberg, Germany. I can understand this.
Anyway, I instructed them to accept my unequivocal refusal in advance. One of those Mormons is a very good friend to this day and I consider him to be an exceptional individual.
I wouldn't worry much about what you consider Satanic symbols since the catholic church reinvented Satan and created a place for him to live all, of course, stolen from Greek mythology. Another irony is how christians gleefully refer to Greek concepts regarding life to be mere mythology while at the same time considering their own mollycoddled mish mash of made-up dogma to be somehow, more valid!
Ahhh, we truly adore our own misassumptions and hold them dear.

1. We do baptisms for the dead, sealings, endowments, and some others...I dunno what is involved(step by step) because I haven't done any.
2. We wear undergarments for the same reason you do...sanitary reason. Unless you mean the endowments, and they're just a constant reminder of our covenants we made with God.
3. No.
4. No...I did before I joined and that's how I found out it was true.
5. I dunno what you're even talking about with the "starstones" so I doubt we have them in our churches since I've never seen one.
6. Masonry is not satanic, and why do you use the all seeing eye every day when paying for things? You satanist! Not to mention I dunno where that is either, unless it's in the temple...
7. Your book and early Christian leaders say that too. Google Curse of Cain and Curse of Ham...
8. You asked this already.
9. It's not secret.
