I make a rabbit cookie type think. It's really easy.
You need a blender or coffee grinder.
Step 1
Grind up about 1/3 cup or pellets, hay, and oats.
You can use the pellet dust at the bottom or a bag, same with hay.
Step 2
You need some sort of base. Fruit or vegetable works well. I use apple sauce or fruit cups. Baby food can also work.
If you are using fresh, mash it into a pulp.
Step 3
Mix all ingredients in a bowl. it should be fairly thick. Spread it on to a cookie sheet. Parchment paper is better than aluminium foil, you can also just use an empty tray.
I like to add some oats on top to help absorb any extra liquid.
Step 4
Bake at 350*F for about 40min. Flip over half way. Let them cool in the oven. Store in a plastic bag or container.

Bunny treats? Here is a super simple one I have been meaning to try: Celery Stick Salad Get a long celery stick. Chop up other favorite vegetables- you know, carrots, brocolli, radishes, green peppers, pieces of romaine lettuce, etc.- into little pieces that will fit cozily in the curved part of your celery. Make sure the veggies wont fall out easily- they should fit securely in the celery. Wrap the celery stick salad in a large piece of romaine lettuce, and give to your bunny. =)

Literally about 3 hours ago: i mixed some crushed rabbit food with some grated carrot, apple and a bit of celery, put them in a bowl - mixed them up and added some pea juice still in the pan from our earlier roast
(my step dad only buys organic food so everything i used should be organic - not sure about the rabbit food thought)
I flattened it into a 'cake' and put it in the rabbits food bowl - I think he prefers it to his usual veg / fruit treats - I've never seen him eat something so fast!

no treats necessary -they're not human. give the rabbit a steady diet of fresh leafy green and other veggies. supplement (or treat) with bits of fruit or carrot once or twice a week.
