did n e body have problems with their ps3??
cuz i have 2nd thoughts on buying it because wen i bout my ps2 it had problems..my ps2 wouldnt play those discs with blue or black bottoms only the regular lookin ones
sooo does n e body have n e problems to report and is it worth buying???

ps3 has no problems what so ever mate. you should buy one i have one and mate when you get ps3 you will think the ps2 is nothing. the games are the best the console it can do all you multimedia needs the graphics the online is awesome you no what I'm on it right now on the PS3s browser not bad huh. take it from me you laugh at yourself when you get one and look back on what you just said

I bought the game Okage Shadow King, which has that blue bottom on the disc, and it played fine. I think it didn't play the first time I put the disc in (it was used & slightly scratched, so that could've been the problem too), but the second time, & every time after that, it played for me fine. The same with black bottomed discs from PS1 games, they played fine. It might just be a problem with that one system. If there's a huge problem like that again with the PS3, then definitely exchange it.
My fiancee & I just had a problem like that with a dvd player we just bought, where it just wouldn't work properly, so it could just be defective.
We also have a PS3 and are very happy with it. :)
(Can't wait for Rock Band! lol)

If you are going to buy a game console, then I would suggest the XBox 360, but definately not the PS3. There are way to many problems with it, and I returned mine within a week of buying it. However, I have found little to no problems with the 360. Hope this helps!

PS3 has only 0.2% return rate. Xbox 360 - over 30%.

I have had mine since they first came out last year....and have NOT have a single problems. its works great, i play it everyday, go online, download stuff...never had a problem.
