last night was a school dance and my guy friend (my crush , Zach ) was thair and my friend ( Dezi ) told me she has liked him for a long time . So the night went on and I did my first Dirty Dance ever and it was with my crush and then I called him when i got home and we talked for like 2 hours and in that time he told me he liked Dezi and he wanted me to tell her . So I did and she was all like ohh ya and super happy and im all like ohh no and crying and they want to go out . WHAT CAN I DO , DEZI KNOWS I LIKE HIM AND ZACH KNOWS I LIKE HIM .

We all get put in that situation, I say he's not worth loosing a friend over. Besides their's gonna be other guy's in school you'll like more than him. Maybe you should talk to Dezi and tell how you feel instead of holding it back. Good Luck and I wish you the best.

This is not the answer you want to hear but it is the one everyone tells you. You need to tell him. Or wait and see how the relationship ends out. Watch for what makes him happy and then do that to him all the time. If Dezi knew you liked him before then steal your man back. Good Luck.

High school is time for practicing, and this includes relationships. Crushes are not relationships, they're only one person's imagining thta you're in them. They're VERY one sided. I'm sorry it came as a shock--but when there's two people there's always going to be two different viewpoints and you two were clearly NOT on the same page with expectations.
People in high school change their 'likes' and 'loves' on sometimes a weekly basis, and none of them extend past the 4 year graduation. Your SERIOUS relationships come after age 20. So consider this all practice, your life doesn't hinge on someone liking or loving you at this point in time. No, it doesn't. Nobody in high school goes long term with these because all of THEM are practicing too.
I found my first serious relationship when I was 24, and we discussed a LOT about what we wanted, what we were willing to give, what we expected and how real life affected all of it. You can't achieve anything like that depth in your teen years.

Girl, he chose Dezi. You can't change that, but you can show them you are mature enough to accept it and live with it. Be a friend about it. It will hurt, you will feel jealousy at first. But you deserve better. If he didn't see you for what you are worth he doesn't deserve you. Move on, be proud and you will find that guy that will really make you happy.

Damn, and that dirty dance is already out there. You know what though, at your age, it probable that the guy is a jacka** anyway, and Dezi just saved you months of heartache. Thank her and find a new friend who won't do that to you.

talk to your friend and if ya both true friends neither of you will date the guy or find a different solution for the problem. Anyways just forget the zach guy and move on crushes come and go.

Crushes are important, but there are bigger things in the world. You and your friend should be able to get over this. Relationships dont last long, and after a while, you can ask to go out with him when they have split and shes had other boyfriends since.

Well guess what i just got finished goin through the same thing and it was dicffult and hard to get over but you neither could i control anyone's feelings even though you might feel like you wish you can but trust u really can't, well just talk it out with your friend and wateva and try your best to move on i know it's hard and everything but just TRY i mean its normal for some friends to like the same person and everything it just mean you to have the same taste and everything and the guy you and friend it going to like either or rather its you or her and in our (me and your) case the gays liked the other girls but i am moving on and so should u thanks,

Neither of you should date him for a few reasons.
#1. Hes a jerk. Dancing with you like that while he liked your friend is sleazy. Using you to get to your friend is sleazier.
#2. You will both regret allowing a silly boy to come between you. He will not stay in the picture long and this will destroy your friendship.

Im sorry to say but if shes really you best friend you should let this go. I know it hurts inside but this happen to me once to and I lost him and my best friend I just wish I could turn back time but I cant so im telling dont do anything or you just will hurt yourself even worse then you feeling right now
